Great job making these in class :)
If you need a recipe for either of these, just ask. Most of you were confident that you could prepare them again from memory. Here is the recipe for the s'mores bark we made in class.
For s'mores bark carefully melt chocolate chips in the microwave at 30 second intervals. Stir well, then fold in mini-marshmallows and crumbled graham crackers. Spread the mixture on a parchment covered sheet pan and refrigerate until hardened. When ready, cut into pieces and enjoy! You can change the type of chocolate and add-ins to create a variety of easy treats. This week we'll learn about basic kitchen safety, equipment, and
food preparation methods. Here is a look at this week's schedule: Monday (10/21) -- Lab Protocol / basic safety & sanitation practices Tuesday (10/22) -- The magic and mystery of microwave ovens Wednesday (10/23) -- More microwave methods Thursday (10/24) -- Lab tutorials / recipes & procedures review * Friday (10/25) -- Grilled cheese & quesadilla lab * Lab activities planned on this day. Please dress appropriately. Here are links to the videos we partially viewed in class:

This is the last week of Quarter 1.
